During this course, the learner will learn how to properly obtain vascular access and draw blood causing the least amount of pain to the patient using phlebotomy equipment as well as correct placement an utilization of an over-the-needle IV catheter. This vascular access training also covers the handling and controlling of bio-hazardous materials such as blood samples used/unused needles.
